Idea Lab

The Englewood Incubation Center Idea Lab program is our concept of a Maker Faire. This program is designed for the entrepreneur who has some mechanical skills and needs some space and equipment to design and build a product. The Idea Lab has over 4,000 square feet of space and includes commercial grade cutting, welding, bending, soldering, molding and drilling equipment. Electrical and electronic testing equipment is also available. Technical assistance will be available whenever possible.

The Idea Lab is part of a private enterprise and therefore space and availability of equipment will be limited to a defined number of Idea Lab candidates. EIC will provide the space and access to the equipment. No additional funding is provided. A minimum fee to cover insurance and operating costs may be required.

If your application is selected you will then be contacted by a member of the EIC evaluation committee. A personal interview will be required and then a day(s) and time slot will be provided for your access to the Idea Lab.
